Imphal, January 7, 2007: The Kuki Students’ Organisation Khengjoi Block has conveyed gratitude to all the NGOs, social workers, church leaders, individuals and specially to MLA BD Behring and Khengjoi DDO Nazimuddin Khengjoi for their prompt provision of relief materials to the displaced villagers of Khengjoi area, said a press release.
Any villager staying out of their respective group centres would not be provided relief materials, it said while asserting that a house was allegedly destroyed in firing by MPA cadres. It informed that Pulse Polio Immunization programme for children between 0-5 years would be held this week with the help of authority concerned.
