Sinlung Indigenous Peoples Human Rights Organisation (SIPHRO) utterly condemns the inhumane torture and brutal murder of Isaac Lalmalsawm Intoate at Beraw Tlang, Aizawl, Mizoram and whose dead body was found on April 20, 2006.

SIPHRO strongly urges upon the concerned authorities in Mizoram to leave no stone unturned to identify the perpetrators. Sanity demands that those involved in the senseless murder of Isaac Lalmalsawm Intoate receive fitting punishments.

SIPHRO conveys its deepest sympathy and condolences to Dr. Lal Dena’s family and relatives for their irreparable loss. May Isaac’s soul rest in peace and his fearless soul remain a beacon light to us all.
